Glennon Engleman, Hitman and fulltime Dentist. Here’s yet another crazy tale of murder. I don’t get what happens to these idiots that drives them to murder. This story is about the main reason for most murders money. Lets take a look at this guy. Born Glennon Edward Engleman February 6, 1927 in St. Louis Missouri. 
He checks out on March 3 1999 aged 72 years. A United States Army veteran and a St. Louis dentist, planned and carried out at least 7 murders for monetary gain over the course of 30 years. He was already serving 2 life sentences in a Missouri state prison when he pleaded guilty to the murder of a man and his wealthy parents in a separate contract killing that occurred in Illinois. Engleman was a sociopath, once stating that his talent was to kill without feeling, and he enjoyed every moment of planning and carrying out killings and disposing of the bodies. In order that it brought financial rewards. His first known killing occurred in collaboration with his ex-wife. His ex-wife Ruth married another man, increased his life insurance and then Engleman murdered him, both sharing the money. This became his M.O. tactics for other murders. Academically he was an above average student in school, but he didn’t excel in any specific subject.
He graduated in dentistry at Washington University in St. Louis, 
in 1954 under his GI Bill. He had previously served in the US Army Air Corps. 1958: Engleman is suspected of the murder of James Stanley Bullock, 27, a clerk for Union Electric Company of Missouri and part-time student. Shot dead around the St. Louis Art Museum. Edna Ruth Bullock and James Bullock were married on June 28, 1958, they had been married for 5 & 1/2 months on the date he was murdered. Edna Ruth Bullock was Engleman’s ex-wife prior to her marriage with James Bullock, she collected $64,000 from James Bullock’s life insurance. These 2 are pretty lethal. 1963 Engleman is suspected in the murder of Eric Frey, a business partner of Engleman at Pacific Drag Strip, Engleman bashed his skull in with a rock, threw him down a well, and used dynamite to blow him up afterwards. Ok no trace there, what a fucking crazy dude. He then split the insurance money with Frey’s widow. Holy shit he got the man’s wife in on it. 1976 Peter J. Halm is shot dead in Pacific, Missouri. His wife, Carmen Miranda Halm, a former dental assistant trainee who had worked for Engleman and known him since childhood, ordered the hit to collect a $60,000 from the life policy of on Halm. Now we get real insane. 1977 Arthur and Vernita Gusewelle at their farmhouse near Edwardsville, Illinois. Arthur is shot to death; Vernita has her skull bashed in. Oh by the way all this bashing of skulls, he does this with a sledgehammer. 
Engleman then murdered the son Ronald Gusewelle in East St. Louis, Illinois 17 months later so his widow Barbara Gusewelle Boyle could claim the millions in life insurance she took out on her husband, the sole heir to his parents’ oil business as well. Boyle collected approximately $340,000 following her husband’s murder. Boyle was convicted in her husband’s murder but got off of the killing his mom & dad. She was later sentenced to 50 years behind bars for the murder of her husband. She was released from the Dwight Correctional Center on October 10, 2009. Robert Handy, the accomplice, pleaded guilty to conspiring to commit the 3 Gusewelle murders and was sentenced to 14 years and served his time in prison. Engleman confessed to the 3 killings while in prison. No he’s not done. 1980 Sophie Marie Barrera, owned the South St Louis Dental Laboratory. She is killed in car bomb explosion. Engleman owed her over $14,000. September 25, 1980, a jury in federal court found Engleman guilty in the murder of Barrera. Engleman was accused of her murder to authorities by her son, Frederick Barrera. This guy was one of those very few, they can murder with out any remorse like drinking a glass of water. So I bet you can not wait for your next trip to the dentist. ( Алекса́ндр Ви́кторович Соло́ник ) 
Sorry unless your Russian or can read it. Alexander Viktorovich Solonik Born October 16, 1960 in Kurgan, RSFSR Soviet Union. Found dead in Athens, Greece January 31, 1997 aged 37 years. Was a Russian gangster, known for his reputation as a spot on bad motherfucker. A contract killer in the Russian criminal underworld like no other.. AKA the Macedonian & Superkiller and in Valerianych, Solonik was involved in Russian Mob activity though out the 1990s until disappearing after his 2nd escape from prison. Solonik was found dead in Athens, Greece, in 1997. This is one bad ass lets check him out shall we. As a child he showed great interest in martial arts and firearms. When finishing school, Solonik was conscripted into the Soviet Army 
and was assigned to a tank regiment, a part of the group of Soviet forces in Germany. After his conscription ended, Solonik joined the OMON police agency and eventually received training at the Gorkovskiy Institute. However, after 6 months he was expelled for extreme violence towards suspects, and upon returning home, Solonik obtained a job as a gravedigger at the Kurgan cemetery. 1987 he was charged with rape and sentenced to 8 years in prison. During a farewell meeting with his wife before he was imprisoned, Solonik escaped by jumping from the 2nd floor (he would have never got off the 3rd floor) of the building. After several months he was apprehended 120 miles north of Kurgan, and taken to the prison. In prison Solonik was designated to solitary confinement because he served on active duty and had some police training, but later was transferred to serve his prison sentence among the other prisoners. When it became known to the other inmates that Solonik had worked for the police, he was marked for death. This shit could be a great movie. According to prison reports Solonik defended himself against 12 inmates at a time, earning the respect of his fellow prisoners. After 2 years of imprisonment, he escaped again. Told you this dude is the real deal. Solonik went back home to Kurgan, joined the local criminal organization, and started work as a hitman. Solonik’s first target, the leader of a rival organization, was murdered in 1990 in Tyumen. After this hit, Solonik went to Moscow, 
with other members of the Kurgan organization to seek work. In 1992, Solonik assassinated Russian “thief in law” Viktor Nikiforov, and 6 months later he murdered another important Russian Mob boss. Look this guy was a killing machine designed to kill, and he loved it. Eventually, Solonik surfaced in Greece with a fake passport, which he secured from the Greek consulate in Moscow. In Greece, Solonik set up his own organization of around 50 men, which dealt in drug smuggling and contract killings, and bought several villas in an Athens suburb. Solonik’s reputation now grew to legendary proportions with the public, and he was featured in Russia’s Top 10 “Most Wanted” list. In February 1997, Greek newspapers published articles that claimed a Russian Mob boss had been found dead 15 miles from Athens. The body of the mobster was found strangled to death and had no identification documents, though the authorities nevertheless identified the body as Alexander Solonik. In the weeks after Solonik’s body was found, Greek authorities raided the villas belonging to Solonik’s organization and found an arsenal of weapons. They also discovered that Solonik had been hired to carry out a hit in Italy before his death. Holy shit people these 2 guys are as about as nutty as it gets.
